Mrs Lauren Suter

Teacher of English

Mrs Suter grew up on the island, having been educated at Sandown Bay Academy.

She is keen to share her knowledge of the English legal system during the extra-curricular hour and in the future begin to teach Law at GCSE level.

Experience

Mrs Suter achieved A-Levels in Law, Business Studies and Sociology before going on to complete her Law degree from the University of Surrey.

After realising that it was a teaching career that Mrs Suter wanted to pursue, she began her PGCE with the University of Portsmouth – The Island Free School being her host placement school. She became qualified as an NQT in June 2019.

My goal is to encourage pupils to believe in their own abilities and thrive in every aspect of their school life.
