Miss Kyra Elliott

Teacher of Drama

Miss Elliott grew up in Liverpool. She studied Performing Arts and then Musical Theatre, Miss Elliott gained her undergraduate degree in Applied Theatre and Community Drama at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, co-owned by Paul McCartney. She then went onto to complete a school’s direct PGCE through John Moores university.

Miss Elliott has a passion for musical theatre, she has had the opportunity to attend lectures with some phenomenal actors and work with some amazing community groups to use theatre as a positive tool in society whilst training at drama school.

  • B-TECs in Performing Arts and Musical Theatre at West Lancashire College.
  • BA hons in Applied Theatre and Community Drama at The Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts.
  • PGCE in Drama in Secondary Education at Liverpool John Moores University.

Experience

Miss Elliott has a passion for musical theatre, she has gained awards such as winning best female lead in a musical at the NODA awards. She has had the opportunity to attend lectures with some phenomenal actors and work with some amazing community groups to use theatre as a positive tool in society. Miss Elliott has had the experience of working in both mixed and single sex schools within a city and is excited to share her experiences with TIFS pupils.

My Goals

I would love to travel South East Asia and volunteer abroad.
