Prior to Christmas Lola P from year 10 painted 3 beautiful cards. A local printing company generously assisted her, having them printed into actual Christmas cards. As well as selling these to friends and family, Lola sold her designs to local groups at craft fairs and raised an amazing £53.00 for her chosen charity: Care4Calais.

Care4Calais a volunteer-run refugee charity working with refugees in the UK, France and Belgium. The charity delivers essential aid and support to refugees providing warm clothing, bedding, food and medical assistance to people in desperate need – as well as social support and interaction, including language lessons and sports and music workshops.

Lola chose this particular charity after reading of refugees not having decent clothing such as boots in the snow at refugee camps. We are very proud of Lola and her incredible donations raised for charity.
