IW Athletics held their annual awards evening on 30th November 2018. It was a brilliant night of celebration, with several TIFS pupils winning trophies!

Award winning TIFS pupils:

Jack L – 2km Park Runner of the Year and Achievement Award
Maisey K – U13 Endurance Runner Award and also recognised for breaking a club record in 1500m
Max H – U17 Sprinter Runner award also the Pasha Burgoyne Award for sprinting (Pasha was an up and coming sprinter that tragically died; this award is dedicated to her memory)
Louis W – U17 High Jumper Award
Frankie W – Derek Frost Award for overcoming 5 operations in 1 year and still getting PBs

All pupils attended the Wessex Athletics League with events held on the mainland during summer, all producing some amazing results!
