Yesterday we took our KS3 TIFS athletes to compete in the inter-schools athletics event at Media. Year 7 and Year 8 pupils from all over the Island came together to battle it out in a range of indoor track and field events. Pupils took part in short and long distance running races (including obstacle races!) as well as a range of field events such as shot, speed bounce, long jump, triple jump and vertical jump.

A special congratulations goes out to Jess L and Annabelle S for their outstanding victory in the Paarlauf endurance race, demonstrating exceptional teamwork and endurance to secure the top spot on the podium. Denny L also deserves applause for his impressive second-place finish in the speed bounce event, showcasing speed and a great technique.

TIFS also celebrated the remarkable achievement from David E and Charlie L, who secured podium positions in both the 4 lap and 6 lap endurance races, showcasing their determination.
