TIFS Reach 5th Place in Hampshire Trophy

Last Friday, Southampton Sports Centre held the U14 Hampshire Hockey Competition which featured 10 schools from across the county. TIFS started brightly and played some fantastic hockey to win their first two games against St. Johns College and Robert May’s School respectively. Their third game was an end to end battle with the eventual winners, Romsey School, which ended in a 0-0 stalemate. A deciding game against King Edward’s School resulted in a narrow defeat but the team picked themselves up to play their best hockey of the day in the 5/6th play-off versus Perins School, which they won.
