On Wednesday May 3rd, our school band, Freesound, held their first concert since being re-launched last September. An enthusiastic audience heard a range of music, including well known pieces such as ‘Skyfall’ and ‘Rolling in the Deep’ along with music specially written for the band.

Also featured were our talented soloists: Freya E, Annabelle S, Zzahra G and Alice H. Hazel B and Neeve W sang a fabulous duet and Wilbee S, George S and Joe H teamed up to perform a funk medley. Ellen C and George B performed their great original compositions, ‘Enchanted Forest’ and ‘War Horse’ and Alfie G’s catchy ‘Lazy Faze’ was performed by the band.

We’re proud of everyone for making the evening so enjoyable and are sure to see Freesound back on stage soon.
