Year 9 Evie was nominated for the U14 Hampshire Hockey Development Center qualification by Mr Milton, in May 2022. After six sessions based in Portsmouth & Basingstoke she made it through to the Academy Center assessments. 2 assessments later in September & October & she was picked from over 150 players as part of the 22 to make up the U14 Hampshire squad.

Training was every month in Portsmouth from November, and she’s just finished her 8th match, travelling to Buckinghamshire, Sussex & Hook, with the team winning 7 out of the 8, putting them second on the table of Southern county hockey. She now starts the DC cycle again, hoping to be picked for the U15 squad.

Evie is also playing with the ladies 1st IoW hockey team who are in South Central Div 1 and just completed a brilliant season!
