Thursday 24th March was the second ethos trip of this academic year and fourteen pupils with 100% attendance and completed music and reading records for the Spring term spent the day indoor skydiving at AirKix in Basingstoke.

Each group attended a 10 minute briefing before suiting up for the first skydive accompanied by an instructor. All students were able to demonstrate the basic skills for maintaining steady flight whilst some demonstrated advanced skills by changing their altitude in the air tunnel.

Each skydiver completed two one-minute flights with a final treat of being flown right up to the top of the tower!

All pupils had a fantastic day and now we need to persuade Mr Boyd to let us jump out of a real plane next time!
