The Under 13 girls’ cricket team had a surprise visit during their recent cricket match versus Haileybury School from Hertfordshire.

The match was part of Haileybury’s Easter tour to the Island which was impacted by the wet weather, so the teams headed indoors to play at Rew valley.

The Southern Vipers and England spin bowler Charlie Dean spent some time watching the TIFS girls in their match before meeting the team and having the regulatory selfie with all the players.

The match proved to be very exciting with some wonderful cricket skills on show from both sides with TIFS scoring 172 runs off 16 overs and Haileybury reaching 102 runs off their 16 overs. An inspiring day all round!
