Dragon’s Den presentation pays off!

On Tuesday 15th November, The Island Free School’s first ever Young Enterprise company pitched their business idea to a team of local business owners and professionals at the first ‘Dragon’s Den’ activity of the competition.

Although the team were nervous to present to the ‘dragons’, they pulled together and carefully planned their pitch. They then delivered a professional presentation, led by managing director Ruby D, and answered some tricky on-the-spot questions about their product. At the end of the pitch, Team TIFS were awarded a £50 investment to get production underway!

Mrs Batchelor and the team’s business advisers were very proud of pupils’ presentation and belief in their idea. They were confident and coherent when speaking to the panel. Finance director, Jake M, was visibly overjoyed to receive the investment!

Watch this space for updates on the product itself, which will be available to purchase very soon…!
