A few TIFS pupils surfed up a storm at The Dave Gray Memorial Surfing Competition recently which was held at popular surfing spot, Compton Bay, on 13th November.

Participants managed to compete in up to 3ft waves to dazzle the judges. Casper H. from Year 7 came second in the U14 class, with his sister Frida H. from year 11 coming in third in the women’s U18’s division. A great day for the surfing duo.

Jago T. from year 10 topped the men’s U18’s division, coming in first place. We could not be prouder of all three pupils and their achievements; we hope to see them continuing to surf up a treat at the next event.
