Another year of fantastic GCSE results for TIFS

Huge congratulations to the TIFS 2018 cohort. They celebrated a dazzling set of exam results with 78% of pupils achieving a 4+ in both Maths and English, 60% of pupils achieving a 5+ in the same measure and almost a quarter of the student body achieving grade 7’s in both these core subjects.

Despite a well publicised ‘suppression’ of results this year TIFS pupils bucked the trend and have improved upon last year’s results in most subject areas. We are incredibly proud to report that these are the strongest ever set of results at TIFS with the pupils achieving an average grade 5 in all subjects. Full details of our results are available on our website.

At the heart of these impressive results is the incredible work ethic, steadfast resilience and unrelenting cheerfulness of parents, staff and, of course, the pupils themselves.

Headteacher Steph Boyd said, “We are so proud of every single one of our pupils. They have been ambassadors for the rest of the school and will continue to leave their mark on the TIFS family and we wish them every success in the next phase of their education. We can’t wait for them to return as the newest members of our Alumni network and tell us about all of the amazing things they are achieving in their lives.”
