This year, those year 8 pupils who opted to remain on the Isle of Wight for Activities Week went on plenty of excursions, enjoying what our island has to offer. In beautiful sunshine, pupils visited Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle, and also took part in a paddle board and kayaking session at Freshwater Bay. In the middle of the week, pupils had a day of games at Rew Valley, including badminton, softball and cricket. They also had the opportunity to tour our new school building, where they thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the exciting new facilities they will be able to use in September! Pupils also took part in school-based sessions learning new skills in photography and photoshop, a dance workshop with Mrs Paul, and creating ephemeral art on Ventnor Beach.
