Last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday saw the school theatre transported back to Dickensian London as pupils from Year 8 -11 took to the stage to perform ‘A Chrsitmas Carol’. They perfectly captured the changing atmospheres through their ensemble work as Scrooge was confronted with his past, present and future self in an attempt to get him to change his ways. With an original score, every single pupil performed with an energy and focus that was simply captivating to watch. The combination of song, dance, puppetry and an array of colourful costumes and clever props allowed Scrooge to move through time with ease. This really was a magical production and a fantastic start to the festive season, and we would like to congratulate all pupils on such an outstanding performance.
The Drama Department would like to extend their thanks to everyone who gave their time and support to make this such a success and they are looking forward to their Spring productions already.
